This Privacy Policy describes how Essence Vale ("Essence Vale," "we," "us," or "our"), operating at EssenceVale.com, collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about visitors to our website and users of our services. By using our website, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
We collect information in the following ways:
Automatically collected data. When you visit our website, our servers and third-party analytics tools automatically collect certain technical information, including:
Cookie and tracking data. We use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies. See Section 4 for details.
Voluntarily submitted data. We do not operate contact forms or account registration on this site. If you contact us via email, we collect the information you provide in that communication.
We use the information we collect to:
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes, except as described in this policy.
When you click an affiliate link on our website, you will be redirected to a third-party website (such as Gala's telehealth platform). At that point, the third party's own cookies, tracking technologies, and privacy policy govern the data they collect. We may receive information about whether a qualifying purchase or subscription was completed, for the purpose of receiving our affiliate commission. We do not receive your name, email address, payment details, or health information from the third party.
Our affiliate relationships are disclosed prominently on pages where such links appear, in compliance with FTC guidelines (16 C.F.R. Part 255).
We use the following third-party tracking tools on our website:
Google Analytics 4 (GA4). We use Google Analytics to understand visitor behavior, measure traffic sources, and analyze page performance. Google Analytics sets cookies (including _ga and _ga_*) that persist for up to 2 years. Data collected is processed by Google under their Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Google Ads (Conversion Tracking). We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure whether visitors who clicked our advertisements subsequently took actions on our site, such as clicking a CTA button. This uses the _gcl_* cookie family. Data is processed by Google under their Privacy Policy.
Meta Pixel. We use the Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, build audiences for retargeting, and track conversion events (such as CTA clicks). The Meta Pixel sets cookies and uses other tracking technologies. Data is processed by Meta Platforms, Inc. under their Privacy Policy. You can manage your Meta ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences.
Session cookies. We use session-level storage (sessionStorage) to retain UTM parameters during a single browsing session for attribution purposes. This data is not sent to any server and is cleared when you close your browser tab.
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Our website does not currently respond to DNT signals, as no industry-wide standard has been established. We encourage you to use the opt-out mechanisms described in Section 4 to limit tracking.
Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default as configured in our GA4 property. Conversion and ad data retained by Google Ads and Meta is subject to their respective data retention policies. We do not maintain our own database of visitor personal data.
